Massive Fallout

Massive Fallout is a large-scale group ride organized by the volunteers of the Clinton River Area Mountain Bike Association (CRAMBA-IMBA).

The main route features four CRAMBA trails: Addison Oaks, Bald Mountain, Orion Oaks, and Friendship Park. For those looking for a shorter option, a route with only Addison Oaks and Bald Mountain is available, while those looking for an epic day in the saddle have the option of the long route which includes the full main route as well as Stony Creek Metropark. These trails are all connected via a series of roads, paths, and rail trails, creating a fun, flexible ride. Whether you’re a beginner or expert, the ride can be configured to your experience level and desired length. See below for route details.

Maps will be available before the event. Join us for the mass start to be part of one of the largest mountain bike group rides in Southeast Michigan. If you aren’t familiar with the area, hop on with some of your fellow riders to show you the way.

This ride is a CRAMBA event and will be insured under the CRAMBA group event policy. An aid station will be available during the ride.

Location: Start and end at the Trails Edge Pavilion at Addison Oaks County Park

Ride Cost: Free! (purchase of Addison Oaks day pass may be required), however there is an optional donation during checkout. If you enjoy these events and want us to continue putting them on, please consider donating. You will need to pay for parking at the park.

Registration: https://www.bikereg.com/mfo-2024 Please register through Bikereg. There is no cost and it helps us with planning, insurance, waivers, and other event details. We will also be sharing details such as routes and event updates through Bikereg. Signing up for a specific route does not obligate you to do that route, but just helps us know how popular each route is.

Routes: This year there are 3 routes. The main route is ~45 miles and covers all or most of Addison Oaks, Bald Mountain North, and Friendship Park single tracks, as well as parts of Orion Oaks County Park and Bald Mountain South. Parks are connected by sections of road, Paint Creek Trail, and Polly Ann Trail. For those looking for something more relaxed and approachable, the ~25 mile short route cuts out Orion Oaks, Friendship Park, and most of the road sections. Finally, for those looking for a truly epic day, the long route adds an additional 25 miles to the main route for a total of ~70 miles, including a significant Paint Creek Trail section, Gunn Road, Bear Creek Nature Park, Snell Road, Shelden Road, and most of the Stony Creek single track. GPS routes for all 3 options coming soon. If any of the above routes don't appeal to you join us anyway and choose your own adventure!

Swag: T-Shirts are available at https://cramba.printify.me. All proceeds from T-Shirt sales will go to CRAMBA to help maintain the local trail systems.
