Shelden's Big Bang

(This event is organized by a CRAMBA partner.)

Racing is back at Stony Creek!

Mashing up exciting machine built single track, an old school climb trail, and classic two track, an 8.5-mile lap is on tap for racers at Shelden's Big Bang! Push hard and try to get that top step, beat your friends, or push yourself in your first mountain bike race on some of Southeast Michigan's favorite trails.

After the half-mile hole shot and prelude from the start line, the remaining 8 miles (split 60/40 between single and two track) features 6 unique single and two track sections per lap, perfect for testing your handling and having fun while offering wide-open, fast, safe areas to pass. Steady climbs, flowing descents, and lots of fun and excitement await!

De Ronde van Grampian

(This event is organized by a CRAMBA partner.)

The De Ronde van Grampian is now part of the Michigan Gravel RACE Series with its roots derived from special races and rides from years past in and around the local area of Oakland and Lapeer Counties.  This ride pays tribute to the Ronde van Stony, Grampian Challenge and Fall 50.  For 2026, The De Ronde van Grampian will be held on Saturday August 1st starting and finishing inside Upland Hills Farm.

There will be three distances: 12-mile, 25-mile and 50-mile courses consisting of 100% gravel. These routes travel through the natural rolling terrain in the area with amazing scenic views and a special single and double track mixed in for good fun!  There is even a Dutch Windmill out on the 50 course!  We will provide marked routes, .gpx files, along with timing provided by Epic Timing, along with free beer (while it lasts). Food will be available for purchase after the race.
